Vegetable Farm Worker
Job Description
We are currently seeking Vegetable Farm Workers to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting in the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of a variety of vegetables, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce. This position requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as the physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables using proper techniques and tools
- Sort and pack vegetables according to quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including weeding and watering crops
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor or farm manager
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines
- Operate and maintain farm equipment as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or farm manager
Qualification
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience in vegetable farming is preferred, but not required
- Ability to communicate in English or Swedish
