Poultry Farm Worker
Job Description
We are currently seeking Poultry Farm Workers to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidates will be responsible for caring for our chickens, ensuring their health and welfare, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for them. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for working with animals.
Responsibilities
- Feeding, watering, and caring for chickens in a safe and humane manner
- Monitoring and maintaining the health and well-being of the chickens, including administering medication when necessary
- Collecting and packing eggs, ensuring quality and freshness
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning chicken coops and equipment
- Monitoring and regulating temperature, ventilation, and lighting in the chicken coops
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the supervisor or farm manager
- Following all safety regulations and guidelines
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor or farm manager
Qualification
- Prior experience working on a poultry farm is preferred, but not required
- A passion for working with animals and a willingness to learn new skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate in English or Swedish
