Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pathologist to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and studying diseases by examining tissue and fluid samples, and providing expert guidance to other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Examining tissue and fluid samples to diagnose diseases and conditions
- Analyzing laboratory findings, including microscopic and molecular techniques, to identify abnormalities and patterns
- Communicating with other healthcare professionals to provide expert guidance on diagnosis and treatment options
- Participating in research and continuing education to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies
- Maintaining accurate records of laboratory procedures and results, including data entry and report writing
- Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulations
Qualification
- Medical degree and board certification in Pathology
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Pathologist
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluency in Swedish and English
