Parking Lot Attendant
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Parking Lot Attendant to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting guests with parking their vehicles, as well as providing excellent customer service throughout their stay. The Parking Lot Attendant will work closely with the Front Desk and other hotel departments to ensure that guest requests are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with parking their vehicles, including providing directions to the parking lot and assistance with luggage as needed
- Collect parking fees and issue receipts, ensuring accurate record-keeping of all transactions
- Monitor the parking lot to ensure that only authorized vehicles are parked in the designated areas
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parking lot, including removing trash and debris as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, including offering information and assistance with hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation
- Work closely with other hotel departments, including the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering, to ensure guest requests are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures related to parking lot operations and guest services
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Parking Lot Attendant or in a similar position in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and welcoming personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately calculate parking fees and make change
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain and snow
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
