Laboratory Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, and maintaining accurate records to support medical research and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conducting laboratory tests and experiments, including sample preparation, analysis, and interpretation of results
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are in good working order and that adequate stock levels are maintained
- Maintaining accurate records of laboratory procedures and results, including data entry and report writing
- Collaborating with other laboratory technicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient laboratory operations and high-quality results
- Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulations
- Participating in continuing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Laboratory Technician
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
