Food Server
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Server to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner. The Food Server will work closely with the kitchen and other service staff to ensure that all guest needs are met, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and taking food and beverage orders
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, following established service procedures and standards
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other service staff to ensure that all orders are accurate and complete
- Attend to guest requests and concerns in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, in compliance with established procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, and other equipment
- Follow established safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Food Server or in a similar position in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and welcoming personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including proper handling and storage of food products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, including food trays and other equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
