Food Runner
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Food Runner to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidate will work closely with the kitchen and service staff to ensure that all food orders are delivered to customers quickly and accurately. The Food Runner will also assist with food preparation and other duties as needed, while providing exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, ensuring that all dishes are presented correctly and in a timely manner
- Communicate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure that all orders are accurate and complete
- Assist with food preparation, including plating, garnishing, and other tasks as assigned by the chef or kitchen supervisor
- Set up and maintain the dining area, including tables, chairs, and other equipment
- Attend to guest requests and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and comply with all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure that all food orders are delivered quickly and accurately, while providing exceptional service to our guests
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Food Runner or in a similar position in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and service, including proper handling and storage of food products
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and welcoming personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, including food trays and other equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
