Cook (Continental)

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Cook (Continental) to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet our customers’ expectations. The cook must have a passion for continental cuisine, be creative, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality continental dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
  • Plan menus and create recipes that meet customer expectations and dietary requirements
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of all food items prepared in the kitchen
  • Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and managing inventory
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, including monitoring and documenting the temperature of food storage areas and refrigerators
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure that customers are satisfied with their dining experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Qualification

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Continental Cook in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
  • Excellent knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen
