
Cook (Chinese Food)
Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Cook (Chinese Food) to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic and high-quality Chinese dishes that meet our customers’ expectations. The cook must have a passion for Chinese cuisine, be creative, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic Chinese dishes including stir-fry, soups, noodles, and other dishes
- Plan menus and create recipes that meet customer expectations and dietary requirements
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all food items prepared in the kitchen
- Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and managing inventory
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, including monitoring and documenting the temperature of food storage areas and refrigerators
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure that customers are satisfied with their dining experience
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chinese Cook in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Excellent knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation
- Fluent in English and/or Mandarin, both written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen
