Banquet Server
Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced Banquet Waiters to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests at a variety of events, including weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions. The Banquet Waiter will work closely with the Banquet Manager and other staff members to ensure that all guests receive a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down banquet events, including tables, chairs, and decorations
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables, and assist with seating as needed
- Provide drink and menu recommendations, and answer any questions about the food and beverages being served
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen in a timely manner
- Serve food and beverages to guests according to the event timeline and guest preferences
- Monitor guests for additional needs, such as refilling drinks or providing additional utensils or condiments
- Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and silverware, and reset them for the next guest
- Ensure that all areas of the banquet event are clean and organized at all times
- Work closely with other staff members, including the Banquet Manager, to ensure that guest requests are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Banquet Waiter or in a similar position in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and welcoming personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays of food and beverages
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
