Back Waiters
Job Description
We are currently seeking Back Waiters to join our team in Sweden. The successful candidate will work closely with the servers and other restaurant staff to ensure that all guests receive timely and efficient service. The Back Waiter will be responsible for preparing the dining room for service, clearing and resetting tables, and providing support to the servers as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up the dining room for service, including arranging tables, chairs, and table settings
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables, and assist with seating as needed
- Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and silverware, and reset them for the next guest
- Assist with running food to tables, ensuring that each dish is properly presented and served according to guest preferences
- Provide assistance to servers as needed, including taking drink orders, refilling glasses, and answering guest questions about the menu
- Maintain a clean and organized dining room, including ensuring that tables are free of debris and that the floor is swept and mopped regularly
- Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures related to service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
- Work closely with other restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to ensure that guest requests are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Qualification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Back Waiter or in a similar position in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and welcoming personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays of food and beverages
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
